Since 2008 when Obama took office, the number of Americans relying on food stamps has doubled.
Now, one CEO is tired of seeing America being turned into a food stamp nation by the entitlement-happy liberals and says big changes need to happen to get Americans back to work.
Andy Puzder CEO of CKE Restaurants said the problem is that people actually are working less to keep their entitlements and even giving up promotions because they are afraid if they earn more they will lose benefits and won’t be able to feed their kids.
As a result, Puzder said the system is essentially making people dependents with little ways to escape.
Calling the whole system “broken,” Puzder said that the complex system of handouts must be ditched and in its place a program that gives Americans a hand-up not just a handout and focuses on rewarding hard work.
