Relax, kemosabes, for the latest fake news story being touted by the liberal media — that President Donald Trump’s campaign team was in contact with Russian officials “in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race,” as reported by Reuters — appears to be another nothing burger.
As was noted by the all-knowing, all-seeing Rush Limbaugh this afternoon, hidden a few paragraphs into the story was this gem: “The people who described the contacts to Reuters said they had seen no evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the campaign and Russia in the communications reviewed so far.”
In the remixed words of Rush, “Then [WTF] is the story!?”
Nothing. Nothing at all. It’s just more leaked bullshit reportedly provided this time by “current and former U.S. officials” with an ax to grind.
The story is not fake news, per se, but it’s another blatant attempt to stir up fear in the hearts of Trump supporters and loathing in the slime-pumping, arterial sacks liberals call their hearts.
By about 3:00 pm, every major liberal outlet had picked up on the story, including The Hill, The Washington Post, CBS News, Axios, Time magazine, New York magazine, etc.
Likewise, liberals were screeching like pterodactyls on social media, citing this story as further proof that Trump and his team had colluded with the Russians.
Question to liberals: Did you even read the full story, or did you only read the headline, bruh!?
