During the 2016 BET Awards this Sunday, racist black actor Jesse Williams bemoaned the “invention called whiteness,” which he blamed for “ghettoizing and demeaning” black culture.
“We’ve been floating this country on credit for centuries, and we’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people out of sight and out of mind while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil — black gold — ghettoizing and demeaning our creations and stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit,” the actor, Jesse Williams, kvetched.
I would share the video, but BET is so full of itself that it refuses to allow anyone to post it to YouTube.
Regardless, does Mr. Williams really want to make this faulty argument?
It is his own people who voluntarily choose to “ghettoize” themselves every single time they celebrate thug culture, violent rap music and piss-poor values:
Granted, I myself sometimes listen to rap music, as I got a thing for nice beats, but I surely never allow the bombastic bull spewed by know-nothing rappers to affect either my life or the way I live it. I know how to separate fiction from reality, but judging by the numbers pertaining to black criminality, too many among Williams’ people do not.
“What statistics?” you ask.
How about the indisputable statistics that show blacks commit homicide at a rate 11 to 12 times higher than whites?

Or how about the fact that though blacks make up just 13 percent of the population, they commit half of all homicides? Better yet, did you know that blacks are also over-represented among people arrested for white-collar crimes?
Blacks are also over-represented for white-collar crimes such as counterfeiting, fraud and embezzlement. https://t.co/loVqevDJ8o

But instead of admitting any of these problems and making sincere attempts to remedy them, Williams and his ilk cowardly choose to keep pinning the blame on everybody else, including the “invention called whiteness.” How utterly pitiful.
His rant continued as follows:
It’s kind of basic mathematics — the more we learn about who we are and how we got here, the more we will mobilize. If you have no interest in equal rights for black people, then do not make suggestions for those who do. Sit down.
Sorry, but HE needs to sit down. Every single one of us as Americans possess the exact same rights, none of which include the “right” to resist arrest or the “right” to commit crime. Luckily for him, there is a right to lie through one’s teeth.
As well as a right to act like a racist douchebag …
