This past weekend, 22-year-old career criminal David Jamichael Daniels shot seven college-aged black youths at a spring break party in Panama City Beach, Florida. According to retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, all seven victims, three of whom were critically injured, are black:
- Kearria Freed, 20, shot in the head
- Devanta Moore, 21, shot in the chest
- Henton Franklin, 22, shot in the side
- Jacole Young, 22, shot in the back
- Kelli Curry, 21, shot in the leg
- Ykeria Ethridge, 22, shot in the neck/shoulder
- Anesia Powell, 20, shot in the left arm, chest and knee
Yet racial grievance mongers like Al Sharpton and everybody associated with the “Black Lives Matter” movement seem awfully quiet, which makes West wonder if they “see the hypocrisy in all of this”:
ALL black lives should matter. Particularly those being driven to despair through an endless cycle of broken homes, lack of faith and values, poor education, poverty, crime and the brainwashing of victimhood.
Speaking of which, AL.com reports that shooter David Daniels grew up in a poverty stricken home among 13 other children. Furthermore, his lengthy record includes charges for disorderly conduct, probation violation, marijuana possession, gambling and loitering, among others.
He clearly is a very troubled young man — one whose malicious actions just put seven black youths in the hospital.
Yet all I hear from Al Sharpton and the “Black Lives Matter” protesters is silence.
Like Allen West asked, “Where’s the outrage — where are the vigils — where are the t-shirts and hashtags?”
Better yet, where the hell is Al Sharpton!?
Oh, I forgot! He’s busy stoking racial tension and animosity . . .
